My visceral response is generally bafflement and/or confusion. Occasionally, I am unable to comprehend the logic behind a certain position you hold, which leads me to believe you must be completely starkers.

If I can “see where you’re coming from” (but just happen to disagree), that’s fine. Sometimes I can’t work it out, though.
