Tomorrow, after a sixteen month engagement, Jen will be ruining my life forever. And by ruin I mean making it better. Immediately following the nuptials we will be honeymooning at the Rendezvous Resort on the rum and banana rich island of St. Lucia. There will be drinking, eating, swimming, snorkeling, archery, dancing and a general malaise about life for the week. The MB will be on hiatus until I return in mid-July with a tan, a shaved head and a perpetual hangover.

btw - if I see photographic porof that MB had Jesus Chops for his wedding, I will give $20 American to his favorite charity.

man, my homey, kinguns is laid up all sick and s^&*. apparently he’s got a swollen vulva. they musta changed some junk around in there. i didn’t know guys had vulvae. alas and alack, shay’s is inflamed like a john holmes erection. it’s gotta be that big because kingirl told me he was having trouble breathing. damn, that’s swolled up.

what ? not a vulva… a uvula. oops. never mind.

Casey has thankfully abondaned the sucky livejournal, and gone with the moderately ok Blogger. (Haikufury is now done with blogger.) Her completely new blog is here - Como luceros fríos.

I had the extreme honor of posting the first comment to her virgin blog.

What I love about Casey’s writings is that no matter how much may I disagree with her, she brings a perspective I very rarely see. A debate with Casey is always that, a good debate. When I read her, I have to think about what I read. I may not come around, but no matter, I am provoked.

Anyway, if you liked her last blog, you’ll love this one more.

Everyone should be aware by now that Jake and Heather are coming to Boston. While they’ve booked up the front end of their visit, I have reserved them for next week. I spoke to Kin Yah, we’re planning (subject to our visitors approval, as Jake is away form email now) a trip to Whiskey’s on Boylston Street Monday night for 10¢ wings and yummy frosty adult beverages. I guessing we’ll hit there around 8:30 or so. Of course, all of you all are invited. So if you can, make it there, it’ll be a blast. (BTW - Jenn, you have to go, no excuses.)

first of all, i am NOT a chicago fan. the band chicago, of course, not the city. the have always had a pretty smoking horn section, but any band with a wussbag like peter cetera in the front = not for me.

i am an earth, wind and fire fan. maurice white’s lows(tragically stricken w/ parkinsons), philip bailey’s highs, verdine white a madman on the groove. these guys were awesome.

consider my mind blown. some genius put chicago and EWF together on tour. they played the today show’s concert series this morning. holy excrement!! amazing. i would highly recommend seeing this show if you are a fan of the funk. if i can get tickets, i’ll see you 7/16 at the tweeter center.

Rach, (aka ute-free Rachel) called me on our way out of the hospital the other day. Something had come into the bank that made her think of me. She wanted my address so she could send it along. We got it in the mail.

I could see why she thought of me, it was a $5 bill with the words “Gun Owner” stamped on it. Ghost Dog and I dissected for a while what the point of the message is. I feel it is a way of saying, we are out here, we are solid citizens, and we have the power of spending to back it up. Either that, or makes disarmers poor by making them throw out $5 bills.

Dear Lahd that’s some funny shit. Obviously the bank is making her a bit stir crazy, so Rach, here’s your new assignment. Da Kine wanted to have archives on his website, so I tried to upgrade his system. It failed miserably. So, I switched him over to the wonderful wordpress. I actually prefer it now, though for some reason I can not get the kubric background to change. Rach, you are to contact Da Kine, and create a new logo for the top of his site. It should be 760px X 200px. He really wants the current picture in there for his whole page background, even thou I think it will look like ass. We are surely staying with the blue coloring.

And remember, Rach does great tattoo designs as well, if you’re willing to be her living canvas.

seamus warned me. shane warned me. however, maggie has been getting up at 7am for a bottle, and going back to bed at 8am. what could i do for that hour ? watch buffy. goddammit. i swore i wouldn’t get sucked in. bad acting, bad special effects, TNG-type semi-serial approach, god help me.
